State Certification

We are pleased to announce that we are now a state certified library. We are the 60th library in Utah to become state certified and the first to do so in nearly 10 years. Certification shows that we provide exemplary library service. It also makes us eligible for more funding opportunities. Representatives at the state library were impressed with the dedication that the city and the community have shown toward the library. Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this happen! We are so grateful for the help of the city, the library board, and members of the Friends of the Library. A special thank-you goes to the previous library director, Heidi Taylor, for her efforts towards state certification. We would also like to express our appreciation to all members of this community who have done so much to establish and maintain the library as an integral part of our community. This is a wonderful achievement for our library and we look forward to the opportunities that state certification will bring.
