Why we exist:
The purpose of our organization is to provide a channel for public support for the Mendon Library and to help focus attention on library resources for the entire community. The Friends are also organized to encourage gifts, endowments, and memorials for the library from individuals and or groups.

- Help build the Library’s collections and services for the Mendon Community
- Encourage the understanding of the functions of the Library and demonstrate its potential as a resources
- Help provide funds to sponsor programs for the Mendon Community such as children’s and young adult programs

Did you know?
We have monthly meetings open to the public. We would love to see you there! Meetings are held at the library at 7 pm on the third Wednesday of each month.
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) with a board of 12-15 elected officers with voting privileges. All other members will help assist on sub-committees designated by the Presidency. If you would like to join, fill out an application at the library front desk. We will be in contact soon!
